Women run and founded, our boutique has always been driven by a passion to empower women through style that speaks to their individuality and confidence. Today, we want to share a story close to our hearts- our meaningful collaboration with The Jacksons, a brand making a real difference in the lives of women in southwest Bangladesh.
When we first connected with The Jacksons, we were inspired by their mission. This isn’t just about beautiful products; it’s about creating opportunities, fostering independence, and uplifting entire communities. The Jacksons works with over 1,400 women artisans, offering them stable jobs that help support their families and build brighter futures. Through our exclusive partnership, Rue Madame directly supports an additional 700 women, making a combined impact on 2,100 women who are the backbone of their communities.
Last year alone, we sold over 10,000 bags- a milestone that not only supports our mission but also contributes significantly to improving the lives of these women. Thanks to the economic stability provided by The Jacksons, many of these women can now educate their daughters until the age of 18. Beyond education, girls are being encouraged to pursue careers traditionally dominated by men, breaking cycles of inequality and fostering a brighter, more inclusive future.
Our collective efforts have also led to important improvements in healthcare access in these communities. One notable achievement is the purchase of an ultrasound machine, which enhances the quality of healthcare for women today and ensures better medical care for future generations. This investment reflects our shared commitment to holistic empowerment, supporting women not only economically but also physically and socially.
