Mapache was founded in 2015 by Jonathan and François-Xavier. They traveled across Mexico in search of the country's most beautiful treasures. They found the traditional Mexican huarache that they spot in the heart of the state of Michoacán. This braided leather shoe is handmade by talented craftsmen, using an ancestral technique and rigorous know-how which inspired them to create the shoes.
