In hand, the wool-nylon blend gives the piece its character. Wool supplies the weight and the slightly textured surface that reads as knitwear rather than jersey, while the nylon content keeps the hand smooth and adds a quiet resilience, so the sweater holds its shape through wear rather than stretching soft and shapeless by midseason.
