Limaia Paris is named after the mother-daughter duo Lilas and Maya. Founded n 2019, Lilas founded the company, based in Paris, as a way to stay connected to her Malagasy roots and help women and families back in her homeland of Madagascar.
Lilas herself began weaving raffia products at a young age, a tradition passed down through generations of her family. After moving to Paris in 2018, she saw new opportunities to stay connected to her homeland and help others back home.
